Project Dark Matter

Half-baked game that will probably never be touched again. Background Music has been disabled on this version to avoid being slapped with Copyright - despite having a working dynamic music system.

.7z is compressed better than the .zip archive but requires either Winrar or 7Zip.

Couple of notes:

• When launching the game, configure the graphics options.
  • The graphics options contain many different options to alter, although the toggles and quality levels are the only functional graphics option that you can change.
    • Number of Lights significantly affects performance. DO NOT PLAY THIS ON A POTATO.
• The game is not completed 100%, there will be bugs, missing content, content that was not supposed to be in the game, short levels, collision issues, and such.
• Game locks your FPS cap with the currently set refresh rate.
• Lighting may be weird.
• UI looks ugly.

Controls:

WSAD - Moves the object accordingly.

Space - When available, uses a powerup.

Goal:

White boxes are safe to collide with, the red boxes are not and causes the game to restart. Falling off the platform does not trigger a game over but makes you go back and start from the beginning.

Green large boxes are known as Doors in this game. Find the key to open it up. The location can be randomised.

When you have finished the level, the timer will changed to "Time to beat: " + Time you took to beat the level.
